Hospital Hill reservoir’s maintenance to affect a large area in the South

Johannesburg Water advises residents of the South that there will be major planned maintenance at Hospital Hill Reservoir’s from 20 – 24 January 2020. Residents and customers will experience low water pressure to no water for the duration of the maintenance. The areas affected will be Zakariya Park, Lehae, Vlakfontein, Vlakfontein proper, Lenasia South and Fine Town.

The entity will be removing old water pumps and installing new water pumps in order to ensure improved and better sustainable water supply to the area and improved service delivery, water tanks and roaming trucks will be organised and placed at strategic points.

Kindly be advised that restoration of water supply might take longer to reach certain areas after the work is done due to the difference in elevation and customers are urged to look for updates on the Johannesburg Water social media pages:[email protected] and Facebook – Johannesburg Water.

City residents are also reminded that level 1 water restrictions are still in place and must continue to use water sparingly at all times.

Apologies for the inconvenience as this is essential in order to improve customer experience.
